How do I care for a Succulent?

- Watering: Succulents are best watered in the evening and don’t require as much water as other plants. You should only water your succulents when the soil is completely dry. You’ll notice that you’re underwatering your succulent if the leaves are puckering, and if the leaves are soggy then you may be overwatering. - Sunlight: Succulents are in the cacti family which means they need a lot of sunlight. Try to place your succulent in a spot that gets bright, direct sunlight . Pro Tip: When you first bring your succulent home, you should slowly increase the light it receives since the lighting is defused in a greenhouse. - Soil: The best soil for succulents is Espoma Cactus Mix. Another good option is Diatomaceous Earth. - Drainage: All succulents should have proper drainage holes. A container that doesn’t allow for water drainage will likely rot the plant. - Health: If your succulent gets infested with pests, aphids, bugs or mildew, it can be controlled with Meem Oil or other organic sprays. Feeding should be done 3-4 times a year with succulent specific food. Otherwise, normal plant food can be used at half the recommended amount.
